Am I not always with you? Do you offer Me before you eat?\u00a0\u00a0<\/em>Baba advise us to remember Him before the <strong>senses<\/strong>, <strong>mind<\/strong> and <strong>intellect<\/strong> enjoy their objects. <strong>We should offer whatever we enjoy to Baba.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"fontplugin_fontid_1408_DroidSans\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">The senses can never remain without their objects, but if those objects are first offered to the Guru, the attachment for them will naturally vanish. In this way, all the <em>vrittis<\/em> (thoughts) regarding desire, anger, avarice etc. should first be offered and directed to the Guru, and if this practice be followed, then almighty will help to eradicate impure and immoral thoughts.<\/p>\n<p class=\"fontplugin_fontid_1408_DroidSans\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Before enjoyment of the objects, if one\u00a0visualizes that Baba is\u00a0present close-by\u00a0and watching, the question of whether the object is fit to be enjoyed or not will arise in the devotee&#8217;s mind. Then, the object that is\u00a0unfit to be enjoyed will be shunned, and in this way, vicious habits or vices will disappear and one\u2019s character will improve. Thus, in this manner, <em>love<\/em> for the Guru will expand and <em>pure knowledge<\/em> will sprout up. As this knowledge grows, the bondage of <em>body-consciousness<\/em> (I am the body)\u00a0dissolve and the intellect will be merged in <em>spirit-consciousness<\/em> (I am spirit).
