Workers of the Guru
(285 & 286)
Without weighing the pros and cons, he carries on with his activities without any confusion, not taking into account whether the job is simple or difficult and small or big. He is indifferent towards appreciation and comments of others. He is unconcerned whether it will give pain or pleasure.
(287 & 288)
Whether the work is of his own or of others, whether it yields profit or loss, whether it pertains to his family or clan, all these become irrelevant to him. Like a lion cub, he spends his life fearlessly. Holding on to the path of truth and virtue, he overcomes all adversities.
(289 & 290)
With Guru’s name on his lips, he crosses all dangers. He tolerates the worldly pains with ease. When in doubt, he continuously implores the Master. On receiving Guru’s response, he starts action forthwith.
