Pujaa-Mulam Gurur-Padam
It is believed that serving at the feet of Shri Guru sanctifies one’s mind. By doing so, one gains both devotion and knowledge. Thereafter, they listen to the sayings of the Guru, reverentially. At times, they place their queries before the Guru and listen to His replies with attentiveness. The life of a house-holder who is the devotee (of a Sadguru) becomes pure, simple and beautiful. The house in which the Guru puts His feet gets sanctified.
The way in Which one worships the Sadguru at home reflects the finest and the truest culture of his family. Who can harm a family which the Sadguru protects? By nurturing devotion towards the Guru in his heart, one receives the experience of the Guru. It brings happiness and peace and allays the fear and confusion of the devotees.
Positive energy influences whichever place the Guru goes to. Waves of divine power emanating from the Guru permeate the heart of the devotees and fill it with devotion. The invisible powers of the Guru remain in that place. The Sadguru visits the house of the devotee only when the devotee has accumulated a huge stock of Punya (merit).
