‘Sahaj Yogi’ (Natural Yogi)
One in whose heart the Guru is seated, why does he have to make arduous efforts (for spiritual evolution)? ‘Naam-Jaap’ (chanting of Holy name) goes on within him as spontaneously as one inhales or exhales air (breath). In such a ‘Sahaja’ (natural or spontaneous) state, the spirituality in the Yogi is grounded properly.
He is revered in the society, even if he is a worldly man. When one is in a (state of) spontaneous spiritual consciousness, he is in divine play with the Guru always. In such a condition of ‘Bhava’ (spiritual emotion), he communicates his pleasures and pain, everything with Shri Guru, as if He (Shri Guru) is his own person (personalized relationship).
Externally he appears like an ordinary person, but he is merged with God within. In his real form, he is ‘Narahari’ (Man-God). He performs miraculous actions in obedience to the the wishes of God.
His inner self blossoms into divinity and he is possessor of all powers (material or spiritual). It is not easy to recognize a man who is in such a spontaneous state of divnity (‘Sahajya’). They take part in the divine sports (Leela) with ease and are very rarely to be found.
